Today I dedicated to ranting and raving about all things green & sustainable in my March Newsletter 2010 – The Eco Issue. If you wish to read it, be my guest. It contains some interesting little tit-bits on eco-couture, designer icebergs and the like. I think I’ve had my rave for the day, so there’s really not much more to add. It’s all there in black & white: check it out! And see you next month for my monthly rave on…mmm…let me think…I’ll get back to you on that one! Ciao for now!
For no other reasn – than I simply feel like it – I include some positive affirmations below to kickstart this merry month of March 2010:
1/: What looks like loss, may be the very event that is subsequently responsible for helping to produce a major achievement in your life.
2/: What is active in your vibration is what will continue to occur in your experience.
3/: The future depends on what we do in the present.
4/: You will never plough a field if you only turn it over in your mind – Irish proverb.
5/: The task ahead of us is never as great as the power behind us.
6/: The starting point of all achievment is desire.
Love to hear some more, if you have any! Have a great week!
Twitter is funny if you think about it! It’s strange and slightly creepy to think that someone, anyone, can “tweet” a.k.a post a message and someone, anyone can “follow” you. What’s next? Will we feel the need to validate our existence by strapping a movie camera to our heads and film our lives as they unfold. Well, this scenario is pretty much happening anyway. About Twitter: I’ve got a real mish-mash of people that I follow and a mish-mash of people who follow me. Karl Lagerfeld is one of them. Mr. Chanel is an odd blend of a philosophising fashionista who takes himself terribly seriously. So, what does someone like Karl have to tweet about? Well, firstly his bio describes him as a “terrible underachiever” which is clearly not the case, while his tweeting consists of a series of quotes. Here’s are a few:
“Like poetry, fashion does not state anything. It merely suggests.”
“Fashion does not have to prove that it is serious. It is the proof that intelligent frivolity can be something creative and positive.”
And here’s a goodie that I can certainly agree with:
“I’m never content with what I do. I live in a sort of permanent dissatisfaction. I think that’s the secret of doing things well.”

So, I’m back in OZ. What a blast Bali was! So much to see, so much to do. It’s a real sensory overload. EVERYWHERE you look, there’s something happening. Wood carving, cooking, silversmithing…The atmosphere was hot, steamy, fragrant and every day was new and exciting. Fortunately we stayed in accomodation which had a pool – a MUST in that humidity. I went swimming at least twice a day, devoured banana pancakes for breaky and savoured Bintang Beer with dinner. The new MISS MOSS range is over and above the best so far. It will be ready in around 4-6 weeks and includes directional jewellery, silver jewellery and clothes.
