Mogil Shoes
I can’t believe I forgot to add these little eye-catching beauties, sent to me from Gil Cowan from
Mogil Luxury Leather Accessories. These lime green sandals are part of her new spring/summer range and they’re luminous, to say the least.

BUTTERFLY HEART NECKLACE FROM SHELL AND SILVER PLATED COPPER
Wild Poppies in Milton NSW, Australia, is the latest boutique to take on the Miss Moss fashion label. Owner, Kerrie Allan, purchased a comprehensive cross section of pieces from the range. Her selection included the Baba Ruffle top, in both the sleeveless and sleeved versions. She selected these in both chocolate and turquoise. Kerrie also selected a lovely cross-section of Wrap Dresses in every print (zebra stripe, tribal and botanical); the belted kaftan; the Evie Top (named after my daughter – so pretty and feminine); and a selection of jewellery including the Butterfly Heart Necklace pictured above. This unique piece is made fom shell and silver plated copper and it is HOT, HOT, HOT! Just one of the many pieces due to feature in the E-Boutique. Ciao, for now!

Comme des Garcon love their nailpolish
These Comme des Garcons shoes are …well…certainly…DIFFERENT! One benefit of owning such a quirky pair of clodhoppers is that you’d save packets on nailpolish and you’d be pretty much assured of ALWAYS making a statement wherever you went. One question though: can you paint over the toes?

Basso and Brooke Spring/Summer 2010
News just in from London’s Fashion Week: the Eighties are BACK for spring/summer 2010! Bright colours and bold, graphic prints dominated the collections this week alongside metallics, jumpsuits, snakeskin and tiger stripes. Grrrrrr! Also big on the agenda was the use of digital prints for fashion (pioneered by British-Brazilian duo
Basso and Brooke – see other entries on this blog regarding this talented couplet). This week many other designers applied this forward-thinking technique such as
Kinder Aggugini (who worked for two decades with
Versace, John Galliano and
Calvin Klein), and emerging designers
Danielle Scutt and
Peter Pilotto. For an in-depth look at the latest

Laila Azhar's Night Metal One Shoulder Dress
Not sure if I love this or loathe this. I really need to see it in the flesh or on the flesh to make a rational judgment. This one shouldered number is designed by the New York based
Laila Azhar. What do you think?

Marc Jacobs Spring 2010
I couldn’t resist posting this image from Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 collection.
Bluefly.com describe it as “Marie Antoinette meets Marc Jacobs in his grunge period of tightly-curled ruffles, fussy boho layers, diaphanous dresses, and boyfriend jackets.” What do you think? Will you be wearing this next season?

“I read in The New York Times this week that I’m an ice queen, I’m the Sun King, I’m an alien fleeing from District 9 and I’m a dominatrix. So I reckon that makes me a lukewarm royalty with a whip from outer space.” Anna Wintour, discusses her reputation on Letterman.
